Uzbek Silk Velvet COLUMN Skirt IN TARTAN
Form-fitting and toe-grazing, this skirt sits at the mid waist and hugs the body down to the low hip. It then descends into a statuesque column. Slits on either side allow for free movement.
The skirt is constructed from a pictorial Uzbek silk-velvet. This textile is hand loomed and vegetable dyed using heritage techniques from the region. The velvet fibers are 90% silk, 10% cotton. It is a highly breathable textile suitable for all seasons. The garments themselves are designed and sewn locally in NY.
